         <description><![CDATA[The free 3DEM is going to disappear, according to its website. After May, the download may not be available anymore. Chances are that someone may offer to mirror the file somewhere, but you never now before it happens. 3DEM is an application that reads all sorts of digital elevation data, many of which can be downloaded for free in various locations on the web. These sets of real world elevation data can be read and transformed into Terragen's .ter format for heightfields by using 3DEM.

         <description><![CDATA[Today's Terragen highlight to me - besides launching TU's canyon &amp; rock surface pack here at NWDA - clearly was Buzzzzz "Cloisters &amp; Ivy" render. If you happened to have missed that, definitely go check it out.
Buzzzzz also explained how to effectively use the free of charge Ivy generator with 3D models imported and rendered into Terragen 2, by using Poseray (also free) to merge the 3D model and the Ivy object.
